It's a tricky question. Events in the early era of karting were incredible. 80s karts looked the fiercest and 90s had peak 100cc tech!

The problem with all modern motorsport is that there is too much grip.

Early 1980s when Bridgestone tires were introduced in the States. Side bite was rediculous and chassis had to be built to handle the grip. Large races we had a set just for qualifying and track records were broken everywhere. Finally the karts handled like we always dreamed. Compounds began to harden within a couple of years to keep costs down.

I think this question would be all era’s. people in the world of racing begin on karts like max, Lewis, it is almost a precursor so in Europe I would think it is continuously growing.

With drive to survive I think their will be a huge increase in Motorsport.

And karting.
