Time flies, and it’s already December.”

Taehyung then shared the somber reason for his post: “Recently, Yeontan embarked on a long journey to the dog stars. I thought a lot about how to tell you this, but I felt it was right to share this news with ARMY, who have shown so much love for Yeontan. I would be grateful if you could remember Yeontan and wish for his happiness even in the stars.”
On December 2, 2024, BTS’s Kim Taehyung, also known as V, shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of his beloved pet dog, Yeontan. He thanked fans for their affection toward Yeontan and encouraged them to remember the pup with happiness. Accompanying his message were cherished videos of Yeontan from their years together.
Yeontan, affectionately nicknamed “Tannie,” was adopted by Taehyung in 2017. Despite being a small and lively Pomeranian, Yeontan faced significant health challenges from birth. Born with a congenital heart condition, he required extensive care and underwent multiple surgeries throughout his life.
Taehyung had openly shared Yeontan’s health struggles with fans, expressing both his love for the dog and his worry over his fragile condition. Notably, Yeontan was featured in the concept photos, album cover, and music videos of Taehyung's 2023 solo album, Layover. This album’s visuals celebrated their bond, reflecting V's profound connection with his furry companion.
