I tried modding marvel spider man for like an 1 hour and it juat would install the mods after loading for like 15 minutes

Definitely hope Lego skins can be added officially. In fact, I'd love it if on top of the minifig skins, there would also be a second Lego skin based on the "Construction figure" version (if you don't know what I'm talking about, look it up, it's pretty cool).
