When doctrine is the basis for morals anything can be situationally wrong or right based on what God/doctrine wants you to do. Murder is wrong but doesn't God ask people to kill. Slavery is right in the eyes of the bible and Jesus tells slaves to obey their masters but secular morality built through empathy tells us that slavery is wrong.
