Not sure if this story is real or fake. I would love it to be real because I sort of had the same thing happen to me. I was 5 years old when it happened. My mom let me stay up past my bedtime. My parents were watching a movie that ended up scaring me. So they let me sleep in bed with them. Whenever I slept in their room I would sleep in the middle between them. To the right of the foot of the bed as a TV and right next to it was a bathroom. To the left of the foot of the bed was a walk in closet. What would transpire that night had such a profound impact on me I can remember with vivid accuracy. I had bad dreams that night and I had woken up 3 different times. Each time i woke up I would see my father down at the foot of the bed. Standing inside the doorway to the bathroom. He was facing me and I could see his face clearly. The problem with my dad standing in that doorway was he was still sleeping right next to me. I wasn't scared or afraid of the my dad look a like but each time i woke up I wouldn't open my eyes fully, only slightly and enough I could still see him there yet he couldn't see my eyes opened. At some point the tv sleeo timer went off which woke me. I sat straight up in bed to find my dad wasn't in the bathroom doorway. Instead a strangs man I did not recognize walked out of the closet and started coming towards me. I freaked out sxreaming which woke everyone in the house. As soon as my parents woke up the strange man was gone. Since I woke the whole house everyone was curious as to what I saw. I had only told my family about the strange man. I never mentioned the man who kooked like my father standing in the bathroom doorway. I would never tell anyone about that. Years later, roughly 10 years later I was hanging out with my sister as she was getting ready for work. We were talking about all the Steve 9 things we've seen in the house when my sister began to tell me how as a little kid she used to see soneone that looked like our dad in our parents room at night. This made my blood run cold
