It's insane how long the new X's are. Been watching them test outside my window for years.

Boeing flew this in and out of my local airport (KBIL) 3 times back to back last September and I just happened to be plane watching. Biggest planes normally are 767s/a300s for freight. Seeing that behemoth navigate the taxiways there was so cool. And the engine is larger around than the fuselage of the 737s that it taxied by. I’ve seen 747s, a380s and C5 Galaxies but those were not at a smaller regional airport.

Good that it's finally coming, but you won't see me on one until at least 2031. Boeing needs to do the most to regain my trust after all their other issues.

In an era when businessmen want to reduce government agencies to a minimum it is increasingly difficult to trust FAA., FDA , EPA etc. they’ve certified other Boeing models only to force their grounding later. FAA is just the tip of the iceberg because accidents are drastic but with regards to FDA and EPA they’re slowly taking the lives of many people to increase quarterly EPS.

They can’t just ignore their history. So certifying this aircraft will be very closely looked at and scrutinised.
The FAA will have to cross all T’s and dot all i’s.
