🇷🇺She was born with spinal bifida and was paralyzed from the waist down. The first 6 years of her life she spent without a wheelchair or medical care🦽One thing she always relied on was her attitdue and having a determined mindset💪🏻 She used her hand for everything—including walking. This devloped her mindset, her ability to get over challenges, and mental + physical strength 🙌🏻🙌🏻
➡️She works with a psychologist on a routine basis where she meditates. She journals how she is feeling along with writing down affirmations. She knows that recovery and sleep are important in preparation for a race and even practice, so she has trained herself to go to bed earlier to get enough sleep. 💤
💭To stay relxed before a race, she closes her eyes and visualizes different race scenarios and tactics. She also reaffirms herself by saying nerves are completly normal. Comment in support of her❤️
