I use a little dock pole when fishing. The little brooks I fish don't require much more. If I cast too far it lands on the other side on the bank😂. The water isn't very deep otherwise it would be filled with swimmers, mostly tourists from out of state. They don't have any bass I catch mostly wild brook trout, sometimes if I go to a larger brook I'll catch the brown or a rainbow. I know that there are lakes all over Vermont but with summer so short there's just too many people trying to use the same resources. So I head out to the wild areas where a lot of women like me wouldn't even walk, camp out, catch my breakfast, lunch, or dinner and have a wonderful time. But then winter comes again
