Put my 16yr beagle down 6/4/24. 10 days ago. Stewie was my best friend. Would've been 17yo on Aug. 15. I am 40yo myself. Never cried that hard as an adult. I wish the 6yo version of him lived for another 80 years. Died with me. I miss him so much. Treasure ever minute with your beagle. Treat them good. Organic everything. Vet checks every 3-6 months in prime years. Then every 3 months in 10-16yo range. RIP Stew 😢

When u do have to make what will be one of hardest decisions in your life....when u put beagle down....get a doctor to come to your home and do it at home. Make sure they do the 2 shot method. And it will be beautiful and peaceful. My 16yo beagle who went down 10 days ago hated vet's office. Even tho vet was great. U dont want to make that drive. Get someone to come to your home. He went in my arms, eating bacon........i love and miss you Stewie. Damnit. It is hard.

Our Family beagle 'Blu' did live up to ~15 years... we rescued her at age three (3), she was with us for twelve (12) years after that. And She DID Love her walks around the neighborhood! No table scraps, but she did get a good piece of meat when I BBQ!!
