Happy Out and Proud Parents Day!!!
Every 30th July, Out and Proud Parents Day invites parents of LGBTQI+ children (all ages), from all backgrounds, to stand up and come out as Proud Parents so we can celebrate them and their love for their children.
The objective of the day is to create parental role models within communities who can help inspire and support other parents who may be struggling to understand or accept their LGBTQI+ child.
Today is the 5th Anniversary of the annual celebration and we have an exciting announcement - the launch of the Out and Proud Parents Podcast! Follow the hashtag to find out where to subscribe.
We encourage all parents who have an ‘out’ LGBTQI+ child (any age) to share a photo of themselves, along with a short positive and uplifting message about their child (with the hashtag
#OutAndProudParentsDay) on their favourite social media platform.
Please follow the hashtag
#OutAndProudParentsDay throughout the day, and re-share, comment and like the posts from other parents.
Together, we can make the world a better, more accepting place to live.
