I've seen responses were some people on another occasion felt that he was upset with his dad because he kinda carried his interview the very same way, but to me, I beg the differ, to me, that's just a sons love for his mother. That said. I don't think it's no malicious feelings towards his dad🙏🏽. I have 8 sons, and they're all like that about their mom, and their moms worked a job. I've always had businesses, so i took care of the lions' share as a man should have but mom did the nourishment and loving and caring part to where the material things i bought for them wore out but that mothers love can never go away. Nothing can take the place of a sons first real woman. That's what most of us momma boys do is chase that type of women like our mom, and most girls are the same way too, looking for a man like their dad, their first man, RESPECTFULLY. 🤷🏾

I would say from his numerous interviews that it may be some resentment with Denzel, he defintely bigs his mother up but he never says anything about his Dad to not downplay him. Obviously he gets asked about his Father the most because he is known but He only ever mentions Paula
