Kotappa Konda HIstory :
Kotappakonda, also known as Sri Trikoteswara Swamy Temple, is a revered hill located in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh, about 20 kilometers from Narasaraopet. The name "Kotappakonda" translates to "Kotappa's Hill," named after a devoted follower named Kotappa2.

According to local legends, Kotappa was a devout worshipper of Lord Shiva who received divine instructions to find a Shiva Lingam on a hilltop. Upon discovering the self-manifested Lingam, Kotappa built a temple around it, which is now known as the Kotappakonda Temple2. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva in his three-headed form, symbolizing his aspects as creator, preserver, and destroyer.

The temple is famous for its annual Maha Shivaratri festival, where thousands of devotees gather to celebrate and offer prayers. The hill itself is known for its three peaks, representing the Hindu trinity: Brahma, Vishnu, and Rudra1. The serene environment and spiritual significance make Kotappakonda a popular pilgrimage site
