This. As a prosecutor, I learned the difference between true predators and short-sighted, selfish stupidity. Both have harmful results, sometimes consequences, but there is a difference in whether that person can be redeemed, rehabbed, forgiven, etc. The trick for the rest of us is knowing which we are dealing with.

She's saying a mouth full right here, it was accepted for so long. And there's definitely a difference between a real predator that means you great harm, and somebody who's making little silly mistakes.
