The actual concept of "wokeness" has been totally misconstrued by people who are looking to manipulate and silence other people's opinions. Of course every single thing that is "woke" is going to look decisive and radical if all you look at is radical examples. To any sane person, being "woke" is just being aware of the issues in our world, including the issue of big government and manipulative politicians. If you asked any "woke" person what they think of the government, 9/10 they will have a lot of negative opinions on it. And the type of people who deny "woke" ideology are the people who just want to continue to hate specific groups of people without backlash.
