Not just a new believer. It's always true. Does it preach the Gospel? Does it believe in Expository Preaching? Does it reject worshiptainment? Have elders who will disciple? Fellowship that encourages and serves one another? If you can answer yes to those, stop searching and plant roots. Deep.

It is important. One thing I've noticed is a problem with telling people to find a Bible believing church is that most people don't know the Bible themselves therefore cannot distinguish between the true and the false. So I pray that people will study to show themselves approved first. But I do love the statement that no church is perfect because there are too many Christians not exercising grace towards each other. 👍
