This is so interesting to me because its almost like he's actively trying not to get too carried away with it.
Like, his face softens a smidge, and he's obviously deepening the kiss and getting into it. But that little touch snaps him back and he's gotta go back to being in control. Like he almost lost himself in that moment and is playing it off like he didnt.

I just noticed this little detail from the other angle. He stops Tav at the moment she tries to touch him. Look at his gaze carefully. Also as Neil was mocapping in this scene I can clearly see every of his movement, it was definitely him :D
