I love that movie, is one of my favorites, I loved the fact the end the only ones who survived were the innocent ones (though the boy's innocence gets tainted after killing Benjamin) the major plot twist: Benjamin's wife survived the self exiting attempt... only to be killed by her own husband after he mistakes her with a crazy homeless lady. Is such a sweet tragedy

Unrelated, but I just found out about a phenomenon that happened a year ago where a bunch of giant broken baby dolls washed up on the shore of Texas. They called them "Demon Dolls" bc they all looked so creepy (probably from being in the ocean for who knows how long). You should look it up. It could be a cool story.

If self exiting means what I think, that's not what happens. Once he forced himself on her, she poisoned herself but survived. She is the begger across the street the whole time and Todd ends her life at the end.
