Here’s a brownie recipe!
Classic Fudgy Brownies
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
• 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4. Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing for the fudgiest texture.
6. Optional: Gently fold in chocolate chips or any other add-ins you like.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake, as brownies should be slightly gooey inside.
9. Cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
