Being told NO, being fired from your job, having your boyfriend cheat on you, among others, are things that hurt us, deeply.
Many of us try to act strong, those of us who can continue and start from 0 without discomfort, these are things we do instinctively because we are taught to hold our heads high.
But inside we are devastated, hurt, sad, depressed, etc.
Here she did not expect to be told NO and that she does not sound like a singer, even though she is studying singing.
These are things that happen to all of us.
In Puerto Rico, where I was born and raised, they had a saying that said: "If they tell you NO the first time, keep trying, keep fighting, persevere because NO means "Next Opportunities."
But we all feel that way more than once. She left it demonstrated.
Maybe her self-esteem was hurt and that was "The drop that spilled the glass", because of how full it was.
Others explode, the most difficult, are the ones who endure, endure, carry everything and when they can't take it anymore, they are the Hirochima bomb.
But...
WE ALL went through that, through some situation, through some rejection, and speaking of the girl, it was better for her to find out there before continuing to waste her time in singing classes and be humiliated for life.
I know they shouldn't record that because they make firewood from the fallen tree.
It's better now than ever.
