Lol, the people here, watching a 30 second video and still decide to ignore the things being said. Obviously, bands like Van Halen are much more technical and so on. Does this have to do anything with disliking music?
He simply doesn't like it. He even says he appreciates it and some people like this and others don't. That's it. Makes me sad that so many people, even though they might know much about music technically, will always fail to understand so much of pop culture, just because they don't want to and can't be objective. Instead they choose to be ignorant. Really does make me sad. Good day, everyone.

I was at a party back in '93 and my friend was talking to this other guitarist..I was just chillin...and the kid says responds that he wasn't into Eddie Van Halen..I instantly laughed and blurted out OMG..they ignored me and kept conversing...lol I recommend Blasting "Where Have All the Good Times Gone" what a great tune. 🕊️🍊🍊💌

There is so much music how could anyone even have time to listen to it all to make an homest opinions, really is about a mindset, as a kid I soaked up music from so many source old film soundtracks, musicals, the radio or TV shows, I really do like lots of music, early AC/ DC was one of the best concerts I've ever been to but I have only listened to one album of theirs and it was a live album to recreated the feeling, enjoyed it and go back to it but not very often.
Been to all day events to see a particular band only to be blown away by someone else.
That is the beauty of music I have brought an album by artists on the back of a single song and loved the first album bought but didn't by a second or conversely bought a second and hated it.
Went to see the Black Keys off previously buying The Arcs album Yours Dreamily on a whim featuring Dan Auerbach, loved it and bought subsequent solo albums and the latest Black Keys album of the time, on hearing they were coming to the UK I took the chance to see them, tried to brush up on my Black Keys history on YT and brought a couple more albums, did I know all the songs preformed word for word as I use to know at Thin Lizzy concerts, no, enjoyed the show and it was great to be in a crowd where youngsters or first time round fans in there late 30s blasting out every word.
Plenty of music dismissed in my youth but really enjoyed now
Tend to go back and listen to music of my youth but some of the live performances are in venues that are so big and the tickets are so over priced so more than happy watching younger bands in smaller venues that are better value for money or even catching some quality bands in the local pubs.
Music, live or recorded can just hit the spot sometimes not.
