I remember watching a fiat 500 dust an audi Quattro with a 1641 bug engine in it at Santa pod raceway in the early 90's. It dusted the Quattro 3/4 up the track. It ran out of gearing which is why the audio beat it. They finally stripped third gear after beating most of what they raced. Pretty cool to watch.

You shouldn’t have any problems; there’s less holding that engine and transmission to the unibody than on a Bug.
My first car, a ‘66 600D, purchased in ‘68. Learned how to drive a stick (no synchro on 1st and a bad synchro on 2nd) on the 8 mile drive home from Rich Motors in Glendale, Ca. Found it necessary to learn to Double Clutch. Drove around SoCal with a 150lb Sant Bernard whose immense head stuck out the passenger window while sitting on the rear seat. One realizes real terror when trying to maneuver a 32 hp tiny automobile on the Hollywood Frwy at rush hour among 2 ton plus Buicks and Semis. Good Times…..
