That's what happened when they took shop out of schools along with other important life skills. They just want ppl to sit behind a desk. I've ran into soooo many ppl that don't know car basics or even home maintenance basics.

the worst is they absolutely tear axles on fwd based cars. if its awd kills the driveshaft joints. he isnt lying, made lots of money off of problems caused by worn engine mounts. the sad part is you can feel them going bad but people still neglect. cant blame em, motor mounts can get pricey. and you wanna buy quality ones so you arent replacing them every year.

Don't forget about transmission mounts. Even on rear wheel drive and all/4 wheel drive vehicles. A loose engine or transmission mount can cause a lot of damage to the rest of the drivetrain. And worn out steering and suspension bushings/mounts can even cause interior problems. Rattling things loose from all the vibration and jarring
