I would love to use them more,
Photomoji are fun, but there's a privacy risk. Once you send one, especially of yourself, it can be shared with anyone, potentially people you don't even know. It would be nice if there was a way that I could make it work with only people in the conversation that it was first used

although I’m an apple user, this “photomoji” feature seems pretty cool. Wonder if this could work cross-platform though.

It's really slow to roll out to everyone and the sad part is few people have it and few don't.
If a photomoji person reacts to the text of a non photomoji user, that experience is really bad.
