It's actually very dependent on the breed of dog too! A 1 year old beagle may actually be equivalent to a 15 year old person, and a 10 year old husky is more suited to being a 60 year old person.
All dogs have a different life progression rate and age differently at various points of their life!

I am so happy I finally saw something like this... I always thought the 7 year per human year didn't make any sense. At least for my dog, he was a border collie Lab mix, great pup 🐶❤, he never seemed to actually age really until he was super old and was dying. He was like a puppy his entire life. And now I'm just sad Cody isn't here too comfort me. Dogs really are some people's best friends
