My name is Dragos, and I am a Senior JavaScript Developer specializing in helping developers implement more effective strategies to gain complete confidence in their technical skills, eliminate impostor syndrome forever, get to the Senior level faster, and increase their salaries.

Together with my brother Bogdan, I founded theSeniorDev.com, a software training platform that uses personalized mentorship to help software developers improve their skills and build wildly successful careers as technical leaders.

Starting from scratch in 2019 with just a few mentees, theSeniorDev.com has grown to help hundreds of developers worldwide, from Berlin to London and New York, from small companies to the FAANGs.

MISSION:
I believe that the “traditional way” of getting better as a developer by doing online courses, reading long books, memorizing, and searching the web for advice from faceless developers is broken. It is creating robots, not thinkers.

Programming jobs offer mostly no training or mentorship. Traditional software development courses focus on particular technologies and libraries. None of them addresses the real struggles software developers face every day.

My mission is to revolutionize this old way and create a new paradigm where software developers learn online from proven industry leaders. We want to allow ordinary software developers to become extraordinary engineers.

We’re training developers every day to excel and become insanely good at what they do best, which is writing great software. We want fewer coders and more professionals.

We’re two years into the mission and have helped more than 160+ developers move into better-paying, more Senior positions for the best software companies worldwide.
