DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT: Mourning Cloak was mine and most of the team's final year university project, it is a film that was rendered inside of a video game engine (Unreal Engine 5) and made entirely by students. A lot of work went into the project long before and long after we submitted it for grading.
I consider myself very fortunate to have collaborated with a talented and dedicated team on this project. I am so grateful for the team’s perseverance and belief in this film. So much time, effort and love went into this project during its production.
