I discovered this band through Joe Biden. I had heard once that this band is his favorite. Absolutely loving most of their songs since then! Can't believe they are touring at this age!!

In the 1970's, one of Paddy's friends broke down outside our house, just off the ferry.
We helped them as best we could. An hour later Garech de Brún, pulled up in a Rolls Royce with Princess Purnah.
An hour after that ,the Chieftains arrived, one by one , and a "thank you" session started in ours front room. Whiskey & 5 hours later 😎 What a memory ❤
