Omggggg why is this so relatable. WHO RAISED US TO BE LIKE THIS. WHY ARE WE LIKE THIS? Especially when our parents' generation and their parents are basically always hunting like fuckin Sherlock for any tiny reason to complain, loudly and fervently, at the slightest non-inconvenience like someone having the nerve to not smile hard enough. Is it a trauma reflex from years of having to sit by like a captive hostage and experience that deeply cringe inducing secondhand embarassment at witnessing their insane, entitled antics? I'm genuinely curious about this now. 🤔

Food service worker here 🙋🏼♀️ me personally, if I got your order wrong, I’d rather you tell me! It’s really not too big of a deal to let me know, and it doesn’t affect me too much. I’m not getting payed minimum wage to care enough if other customers are waiting while I help you. Additionally, I can tell if someone is a little anxious while talking to me, like if they’re just really wanting to make it easy for me, and let me tell you, most of us soften a bit when we see that. If you’re nice and polite about an order change, i guarantee that you’re not gonna have too much of a problem. It’s nice to see someone that’s not willing to throw hands over a chicken sandwi

Absolutely obliterating yourself because you felt like you came off as rude is so real
