I used to work as a supervisor between 7/8 hrs from mon to fri while 6 hrs on sat and off on sun. Once I was required to do overtime for e next 5 hours (total 12 hrs). As e hrs progressed, I felt dizzy, e brain started to slow down and I could not focused on e computer and concentrate on e employees. The long hrs started to take a toll on e brain and e body. I think its not advisable to force employees to toil hrs after hrs for productivity. Best to break the working hrs into shifts. Besides more people could be employed, it also prevent employees from getting sick. In japan long working hrs caused employees to commit suicide. Food for thought.

I've read that the Japanese "work" a lot of hours but those hours are spent wasting time and working inefficiently.
GDP increase =/= happiness, wealth necessarily.
When billionaires who already earn enough but want to earn more tell you you need to work (for them probably) to make India/Bharat (=their companies) great again, you should be sceptical of them.

Nope we seen developed countries like the US, Canada, and UK and they all got their own issues. Especially when these companies wants to grow in power. Germany is a strong economy yet they don’t enforce a 70 hour work week. Plus your able to spend more time with family and be more happy in your life having less rather than more. Btw This is all just from my perspective!
