2018年4月6日，广东湛江吴川市，长岐镇辖下的黎屋村和蓝溪村，因每年一次的游神活动引发争执，数千村民持械殴斗，场面混乱，当地政府出动数百特警和装甲车入村镇压。
长岐镇黎屋村和蓝溪村是世仇宿敌，积怨甚深。当日黎屋村进行每年一度的年例，将村中神祗抬出绕行祈福，游神队伍行至蓝溪村路口时，与蓝溪村部分村民发生冲突，随后冲突越演越烈，村民纷纷加入，双方数千人集体械斗。冲突直至晚上仍然持续，多人受伤。
网上视频显示：有人拉了一车的钢管分发给村民...村民手持长棍及钢管往前冲...投掷物品攻击敌人....村民互扔烟花爆竹。
吴川政府通报称，警方接报后派员到场处置，「做好稳控工作」，当日下午5时，双方已散去。警方又强调，网上流传的现场打斗短片，是「个别网民张冠李戴」，实为其他事件，呼吁网民勿传谣信谣。
网民在警方通报下留言反驳，「谣言？想这么轻地一笔带过吗？我朋友亲眼他们拉了一车的钢管分发给村民，打了一天」、「大批特警进入隔离了」。
网上大部分的资料已被当局删除。
