We have a large Forrest area here in Northern Washington State where I take my boy walking. Or should I say where he takes us walking! Everyday we visit our trees and it's the highlight of his life whatever I do - I only say the W word when we're ready to actually walk- he's always ready at a moments notice- ❤

In Australia have to lookout for snakes or aggressive dogs here plus ourcgirl is on drugs and jabs because of bad arthritis but a good time out

I try to make walks varied. Plus add some variety by 1) letting him swim and paddle in different water ways, 2) if we find a large fallen tree, he jumps up on it, walks along it, then sits and stays whilst I walk away, then I do recall. He has to wait whilst there are distractions. 3) mixing with other walkers and helping support people with puppies and letting them join us for a walk. He seems to enjoy the variety.
