Reataurants just have those kinds of equipment issues all the time. Freezers, boilers, ovens, dishwashers, ice cream makers, etc etc break all the time. Sometimes owners can run out and buy new equipment right away, sometimes they have to order and wait for shipment, or they call a repair person and must wait on their schedule---could be hours, days or weeks. Whatever, during the breakdown time, they tell customers if the breakage impacts the customer but the minute the equipment is up and running, they immediately take orders again.
How many times, people have gone to McDonalds and the icecream machine is down?
