Rakesh Sharma ,first indian to visit space in 1984 on soviet Russian aircraft suyoz.

He spent 8 days in space and recorded many videos of space station in which he was staying,it was just as large as two bedroom apartment.

And this space station (salute), passed 8 times above India and he captured so many pictures of india.,in his pictures he saw some persons climbing mount everest, forest fires in Burma and through this observation later fire was extinguished.

Upon his return from space, Sharma was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union

Lets fast forward now ,in 2022, india is planning its own space mission “Gaganyaan” and rakesh sharma is member of national advisory council for this mission.
