I was mad with Prince for decades for firing the Revolution. I understand now that he changed his sound, so he had to change his band. Everybody can't stay together 4ever!

Prince was growing and he got rid of the band members who HE believed weren't gonna give him what he was looking for musically.. do you think bobby z in concert would play like Micheal bland doing the live gold era or John on musicology or Sheila on the live sign o the time tour? Nope mark Brown maybe but Rhonda and Ida brought something different sonny t was too advanced..Renaldo would run rings around Lisa ..Wendy and Miko neck and neck.

a good keyboardist is hard to find. i’m sure that’s why Prince wanted you to stay. why be silent on why the Revolution broke up though. It’s all water under the bridge at this point.
