@GinoMachino Hear me out! When you kill Lord Radagon, the Elden Beast then uses him as a sword (Sacred Relic Sword) to fight you. It stands that the Placidusax sword is the same type of relic weapon, since Placidusax was also a Lord and this is his remembrance weapon. So the sword is made out of the essence, the very idea of Placidusax in his prime. The vibe, if you will.

The description of the sword says it's made from Gravel Stone, Gravel Stone is an actual item in the game, with the description "found in lands once beset by ancient dragons,
are said to be the scales of those very beasts." so it's a pointy dragonscale.
