Rag on me if you must, all hunters have their tall tails. But It reminds me of one winter hunt I took with my fiancee last minute. We saw this huge gorgeous super pale buck crest the snow capped hill across a creek from us. The sun cought on the crystals of ice on its horns like gems set in a crown. The plume from its breath danceing in the early morning orange light of dawn made it look like it was breathing fire. I don't know why but me an my husband couldn't bring ourselves to shoot him. No words, we allmost felt enchanted and watched him for about 15-20 minutes before he trailed off to go do what deer do in the wild. That moment has allways stuck with us. This video is one of the closest Ive seen of that moment.
