I was so busy with work when Elden Ring came out that it took months on month for me to finally beat it. I was one of the unfortunate souls that made it to Gideon right after the huge casting speed buff before proper balancing. Gideon was spaming spells like he was on coke. I was seeing as many as 4 different spells on screen at once while I'm dodging for my life. Meanwhile, I'm just confused cuase I hear he was the easiest boss and he was putting in more work than anyone else up to that point. Thankfully, they had Gideon fixed within a week. For context, it took 28 attempts to kill Gideon on my first playthrogh. It took 7 attempts to kill Melania, including 3 practice runs of not attack and testing out the capability of a few spirit summons that had ne curious. Then I just dodged until I died 😂
