Seeing Maidu look like this makes me happy and want to skate. I'm 38 now and haven't skated in like 4 years. I grew up in Roseville and went to probably 10 city council meetings as a kid and young adult begging the city to make improvements. I legit showed a powerpoint during public comment period as a jr. in high school once. I did the same for Rocklin. Neither city involved skaters in the planning of either park and it showed. The opposite can be said for the Maidu renovation, and it also shows. They involved skaters in the planning, and look at it! 🤌 Too bad Rocklin is building a pump track instead of fixing the busted ass transition ...
