In my interpretation, the future of the world as described in Explorers could extend to mean what our own future in the real world could look like if we only care about ourselves and self-preservation, rather than the greater good. This is all summarized, in my view, in the fact that the main story ends with the track called "A Wish for Peace", which is a wish for peace for the real world as well and one of, if not my favourite piece of music in the entire Pokemon franchise

I keep forgetting Sky was a thing, i need to pick it up eventually just for the collection sake but i was recently playing Time and theres well over 300 hours on that save file. I love the MD series and they were honestly better before 3D, i can rant all day about how the changes to core mechanics ruins the magic but thats a story for another day

I just realised something. If the planet is paralysed, that means there’s no rotation. That suggests that there’s only a small ring of space around the planet that’s even habitable, with a large patch on one side that’s a frozen, wasteland of never ending night, while the other side is a massive scorched wasteland constantly baked by the sun. If I’m right, then roughly 90% of the planet is now uninhabitable for life.
