Its really concerning since that isn't just an ordinary worm. That's a parasitic worm normally found in salmon and it can cause health problems.

The reason people are concerned is cuz that is not a regular worm, It's a parasitic worm. Assuming what he ate is salmon, there is a parasitic worm commonly found in salmon which is the reason why the japanese didn't eat raw salmon until people from norway Found the way too kill the parasites without using heat.

I’ve never seen this dude’s channel or TT page before but I would indeed be concerned if I were him. Issues with worms/sushi parasites don’t always present themselves right away. I would see a doctor and show him/her the “worm” footage and see what they advise. Anisakiasis can be a serious issue if that worm burrows into his intestines. Let’s hope not.. and maybe he sought medical attention already? 🤷🏻

If there are parasytes in a raw fish dish, depending on the type, and amount, if you chew it very thoroughly you will be fine. While gross as it may be to many to eat a parasyte, it's seemingly safe to eat, if you, again, chew thoroughly.
