Koco, I have one of these rescue dogs. It’s been 2 1/2 years working with her and we are still having major issues with biting(family) guarding, reactivity and more. She has seizures and we have her medicated. She can be so loving and vulnerable (especially during seizures and storms), but the behaviors have me being pressured to surrender her. I know what happens to reactive and medically needy dogs. Please help if you can. I’m in SE Virginia.

Just got a 3 year old GSD husky mix with reactivity issues that has lived his whole life on a chain with no leash or social experince, any advice is greatly appreciated

Exactly! The first thing ignorant people say is, well he needs to be put down. Humans have hands they can hit with, loud voices to communicate, that’s the only defense they know sometimes. And these dumb*as parents expect their dog to act perfect, but don’t expect the same for themselves or their damn spoiled kids! Why do people think dogs should act absolutely perfect but not people?!
