I strapped my cherry picker into the bed of my 1/2 ton pickup. I would use my spring leverage from the spring in the truck to help pull the post out of the ground!
It worked really well. I pulled probably sixty post 6β dia to 10β dia out pretty easily!

Why would I drag a 50lb floor jack around when I can hook the chain to my ball hitch and pull the post with my pickup?

Rack the past back and forth, side to side several times, and lift while continuing that action.
... and get a good farmers' workout at the same time.

I had a friend who used a couple of old bumper jacks out a 67 chevy and a chain to do the same thing.
