Iâm 73 just retired on SS & Medicare. I am so scared I may be ok but what about all the disabled and poor people who have no savings and live in poverty.

I remember when I was a senior in high school and worked on the Mondale Ferraro campaign. My dad was such a Reagan fanboy he laughed at me after the election when Reagan won 49 states. He said there would not be another Democrat in the White House for a hundred years. And it really felt like it but I bet him a hundred bucks there would be a Democratic president within a decade. I still have that 100 dollar bill. I just pulled it out of my safe last night and looked at it. Gave me hope. It will change, hopefully sooner this time. My daughter is a very collected, level-headed sort of person. She told me last weekend that - post-election - she and my wonderful son-in-law are taking massive action not to get pregnant, and that likely wonât change. So, no grandchildren for me, and I totally understand their stance.
