People, she means the actors passed away. The original Morticia, Carolyn Sue Jones passed away in the ‘80s. Raúl Juliá, the second (and best) Gomez, passed away in the ‘90s soon after finishing the second Addams Family movie.

Piggy backing on this; Christopher Lloyd (90s Uncle Fester) and Angelica Huston (90s Morticia) were both supposed to come back forw a third film but after Raul Julia's death they both refused to come back. Angelica Huston famously said "Not without my Gomez" 😭😭
