I actually quite enjoyed Unity. Much like Syndicate, it's pretty underrated

The combat system is enough alone to make me appreciate Syndicate more than most people. Never in an AC game did I feel like I had the power to take on literally any level area and wipe dozens of enemies without taking a hit

I get that origins revived the franchise, but I think Ubisoft didn't need to completely change the gameplay. They just needed better writing.
There's plenty of old school fans that like Origins, but I'd argue it's because of the writing.

honestly I would prefer them stopping this entirely and focusing on fixing the mess with watch dogs Wich to be honest has the biggest potential of all Ubisoft IPs if you think elsewise you're wrong and blinded by nostalgia but I would like to see some remakes like black flag and just imagine if unity wasn't rushed imo it's the best assassin's Creed game so I can't imagine how much better it could've been but still black flag is the best pirate game and origins best rpg (of Ubisoft)

I was hoping you were going to say “Well Ubisoft did neither of those and continue with the Assassins Creed name without playing as an assassin at all.
I only played Odyssey for the Greek history aspect. I don’t remember a single thing about assassins being mentioned in that game (I didn’t finish it, got boring)

I personally liked AC3 because the bittersweet part in the game. Because it showed not every hero gets a happy ending..
AC4 was great all round.
Rogue was basically Ac4 just slightly changed and unique story.
Unity was buggy because it was shortly after the release of the Xbox one. And lack of notoriety system.
Syndicate was just annoying side missions and having to go back and forth w the twins that were very bland 💀

I don't know what you're talking about. I loved to play syndicate. Black flag, ac3 and syndicate probably is the best three. I liked it the first several games, but genuinely I think that these are the three best ones. Everything after it just fell off a cliff.

It got worse and worse after Unity. Imo Unity wasn't bad, it was starting from Syndicate where everything went downhill. Switching to RPG and much older story settings ruined the franchise.

Just today installed AC Mirage and played it only for 20mins and now wondering should I play it again. Feels like the games soul has been stolen.

Unity was a really good game with a lot of potential but Ubi prioritized graphics over performance and content. Really could have been so much better. I feel like a remaster with coop missions rebalanced and made single player with upgraded performance and the game would be way better received.

AC Odyssey is my most fav game of all time. Im not saying i dont like the older games, (revelations, ac3, and black flag are my favs as well) but i i really like more the rpg elements in the newer games. Origins, odyssey and valhalla are best in the franchise imo. Now im just waiting for some cringe-a😮s ezio fan to tell me how wrong i a

I really liked black flag now finally playing through oddessy it's good but where do I go from there its just the same rinse and repeat and halfway through oddessy it's beginning to feel more like a chore than an experience

AC died with syndicate for me. Unity had a bad launch buy going back to it now its was actually really good
