When doing this one it feels great. Hyper-extension means your body has gone beyond straight and not going too high. Although I enjoy going higher as I'm a female and I'm not adding weight. Gives a nice lengthening on the down swing. Do it slowly and with good form.

Isnโ€™t this a hip extension? Back extension is curving the spine in the rolling the spine out again.

I do these in a alternating combination with upside down sit ups on a teeter hang up and it definitely helps my L4 L5 fusion and keeps my body straight
