They are your children and your responsibility to educate them. Educate them at home, and everywhere. Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.

Aa much as we would like it to be, this is not a christian nation. I'm not convinced it ever was, but it certainly isn't now. As a christian, I put very little stock in anything our leaders do. God is in control and whatever He wills to happen will happen, so my only concern is to be obedient to what He has called me to do and not concern myself with what earthly powers do.

Theyāre trying to get the 10 Commandments in appealing to the great historic significance of them! Once back in, the Holy Spirit will do His work through those commandments! Look at the overall picture here.

Todd, I've followed wretched for a long time. When are you going to do am episode on how God uses people to further his purposes? How Moses, Aaron,Noah, Samson,David all flawed but God used them for his Glory. Trump has his flaws, As We ALL do. But he best exemplifies Christian & Family values. Please do something to help people make the right choice for furthering God's work.

The issue is that this is the only way that this can be done, because everyone knows the Ten Commandments are a religious work. Iām a Christian and I know they arĆ© important. But this nation was founded without a state religion, and if you have to lie to get them in there, maybe itās because itās not a good idea

On the one hand, aside from honoring God and keeping the sabbath, the 10 Commandments are very universal and beneficial rules. I hope it'd be hard to find someone who disagrees with "don't murder, don't lie, don't steal."
On the other hand, to insist Christianity should be honored by nonbelievers opens the doors of religious liberty, which would allow stuff like Satanism to be given an equal footing in our schools and public places, which unlike Christianity is an objectively selfish and harmful "religion."
To promote one religion but forbid all others is rather problematic and hypocritical. The Left would call it fascist. Conservatives seem to want a special favoritism for Christianity, when America is not really a Christian nation. It used some Christian principles for its founding, but we do not force people to be believers here.
