2 different size subs for different frequencies. In my 1996 Accord Wagon I had 3 JL 10W6 in a custom triangle box in the very back, on each side was a 12W6 higher up supported by plexiglass was the monster Phoenix Gold amp for the subs, each door had shallow 8โ subs with a 5โ mid and 1โ Focal separates. 2 channel 31 Graphic eq, Clarion Super tweeters on my rear view it was a custom housing that had 4 1โ tweeters could take 1000 watts, 2 more 4 channel Phoenix Gold amps and a 2 channel for my highs up front . McIntosh Mx 406 Cd player. I went for sound quality

Back in the 90's I had a Hyundai Sonata with a wall; 8x 10's and 2x 12's. The 10's were competition and the 12's were what I bumped my music to. Maybe that's why he has two sizes.

Hell yeah two different sized subs. Tens got the punch, twelves for clean lows, fifteens for that rust removing rattle and thump heard from miles away. Together it just complements itself really well. Full range sound

I have 2 of those ORION 2500.1 and they are monsters as long as you can feed them they put out way way way more then 2500. I have one on each of my FI Audio team 15s which are 4 inch coil monsters and my Orions can over excursion them easy. Each sub has 8 cubes with round ports tuned to 35hz. Believe it or not it is very very musical.
