A lot of people picking up GoldenEye today, are using default 1.1 controls, and immediately hate it. They don't even bother to check into the options, where they will find 7 other control schemes, and a number of useful gameplay settings. With emulation, you can customize your controls to other controllers, such as Xbox, or even use mouse & keyboard. There is zero excuse nowadays to complain about the controls in either GE or Perfect Dark.
