Audio-visual immersive experience, Performance with Audience live painting while deep listening to R. Strauss' "Dance of Seven Veils"

In process of creating my MA Scenography final project I #experimented with #intuitive #painting with #live #goprocamera #gopro #liveperformance, on a large piece of paper, painting intuitively to music score of "Dance of 7 veils" from the opera "Salome", as well as with a paint brush, with feet, hands, and on a #glass to the same #musical #score. I accidentally set the painting in natural light and achieved #natural projection of the painting mapped on my wall. That inspired me to go further and experiment with #projections #projectionmapping #painting #shine #glossy #glamour #shadow #texture #fabric #digitalpattern #patterns #fashion #clothing Through experimentation process I created many short videos, showing the process of creating, manifesting what I was imagining, feeling, while listening deeply to the music score. Afterwards I started projection mapping the video score on white costume. I independently created top with a hood and trousers, sawn by hand and using sewing machine. Again, I was quite surprised of the effect that was very visceral and interconnected with the moving image of live performance within a static, contaminated space of clothing. The painting pattern gave the costume another space, expansive ambience, another character, represented the personal journey through the feelings while listening to the music score. I personally found the projection mapped painting an exquisite and #authentic #digital #fashion #pattern #visceral #character as light infiltrated the fabric. The outcome had changing dynamic style, just like the movement of a dancer within the video.
